For the first time in Malaysia, the two-day event will feature the best minds from Silicon Valley who have led the creation and growth of the startup revolution in Silicon Valley and globally over the last decade.

Silicon Valley Comes to Malaysia is a unique event driven by strong partnership between the Malaysian government and the private sector to motivate Malaysian startups to create global brands.  This exciting showcase supports the government’s Digital Malaysia Masterplan, which is aimed at spurring the economy by accelerating innovation.

Silicon Valley Comes to Malaysia leverages on the country’s strength in ICT as well as drive Malaysian entrepreneurs to create businesses for all sectors. The meeting of minds at this conference will catalyze technological developments in MSC Malaysia and inspire local entrepreneurs to take the lead in forming smart partnerships with global players.

The exclusive event is fully supported by the Malaysian government, led by Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak and is jointly presented by Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and Global Entrepreneurship Sdn Bhd (GESB) a not-for-profit company, with support from technology partner YouNoodle.  YouNoodle specializes in designing and implementing entrepreneurship programs.

Jawed Karim, co-founder of YouTube, Shawn Fanning of the legendary Napster and LinkedIn’s founder Konstantin Guericke will be in Kuala Lumpur for this conference to meet you and hear about your startups.  Entrepreneurs with the most inspiring startup or startup ideas will be selected to meet these three iconic entrepreneurs in special one-on-one session!

The exclusive conference will also feature Steve Koskie, an experienced entrepreneur of high technology startups in the United States. Steve and Will.I.Am from Black Eye Peas co-founded DipDive.com, a startup for all production of live and taped content and all social media for the award winning group.
